Over the past two years, we’ve continued to roast with the same passion and purpose that fueled our first batches. Every roast is crafted to highlight the unique character of each coffee variety and the terroir it comes from — a commitment that began long before Stray Cat Coffee existed. More than 18 years ago, a fellow coffee enthusiast told me I could roast my own beans. One hot‑air popcorn popper later, I was hooked. That spark grew into years of experimenting, learning, and sharing fresh‑roasted coffee with family and friends. With their encouragement, Stray Cat Coffee LLC was founded in 2024 in Baker City, Oregon, with a simple mission: to give more people access to a coffee experience they may not have had before. Today, we continue sourcing exceptional green coffees and roasting them in small batches to create well‑balanced, flavorful coffees that reflect the best of each origin.
